Manuella is a hardworking, fun loving, and loves to be around all animals. She is not scared to get her hands dirty to help the staff at TLVH and to be part of the team! She wants to be just like her dad when she grows up and becomes a veterinarian! You can almost always see her around the clinic on her days off of school being a helping hand.
Ashley graduated from Lakehead University with honours in 2020 and has been working customer service for over 10 years. She has loved animals since she was a child so when the job opening came up at TVLH she jumped at the opportunity. Herself and her husband have two cats, Lunatic and Plutonium, and a puppy, Nebulon. Ashley enjoys hanging out with friends, gardening, woodworking and true crime.
Carly is the loud and energetic pomeranian of the group and has a contagious energy that can brighten even the dullest days. She is a passionate animal lover and thrives in a world surrounded by furry friends. Carly has mastered the art of working from home but has switched her uniform from pajamas to scrubs. When Carly is not working, you can sometimes find her out with friends but would not count on it. She is most likely curled up cuddling with her Cat, Mildred and her Dog, Melah. Carly has only been here for about 6 months but would like to see herself grow with Twin Lakes Vet Hospital.
Graduating Office medical administration in April 2023 with honours, previously working in the health field with humans for over 10 years, Megan has found pets to be more lovable. When not working, you can find Megan hanging out with her daughter, son, and bernadoodle, Fiona! Megan is a big fan of camping, kayaking and hiking. When weather is not permitted, you can find her doing home renovations and new projects on the house!
Billeigh joined the Twin Lakes Team in August of 2024 after attending Georgian College to complete her Veterinary Assistant course. Billeigh enjoys her job of caring for all the furry friends and their companions that come through our doors. In her spare time you can find her entertaining her two very high strung Huskies that never sleep, Seven & Damon, and her 2 cats, Pretty and Pippa.
Jayde took a job working in a small animal clinic as a Veterinary Assistant, while finishing her final year of high school. She joined TLVH back in 2022 after finding her passion for veterinary medicine. Jayde plans to attend college in the future as a technician someday. When she’s not working you can find her hanging out with her sweet dog Crouton, who by fate came to us at TLVH for a check up, looking for his forever home!
Danielle is our ordering gal who ensures we have everything we need to provide care for your furry friends. With many years of experience in veterinary medicine, she is dedicated to making sure our team is fully equipped to serve our clients and beloved pets! She holds a Bachelors of Science Degree. She traveled to South Africa on a veterinary service trip, working hands on to contribute meaningful community efforts. When she’s not busy at the clinic, you can find her passionately teaching students across a variety of subjects, sharing knowledge and inspiring the next generation of learners. Also lets not forget about her furbaby Frankie! Whether in the clinic or classroom, Danielle is busy trying to make a difference in the lives of animals and humans alike!
Megan graduated from Georgian College in 2024 and joined the Twin Lakes Team in May of 2024. Her favourite part about her job is assisting with surgery for our Spay / Neuter Program in the mornings. She has 1 cat and 1 dog at home, as well as a lizard. In her free time she enjoys cooking / baking and spending time with her pets.
After graduating from Georgian College, Brooklyn became a part of the TLVH family soon after completing her second year co-op program with us. Brooklyn has grown up with lots of different furry friends, and has always had a strong passion for the care of animals. She currently has 2 cats of her own, Goose and Yeti, and is hoping to add a dog to her pack in the future.
Sarah graduated from Northern College, she received her advanced diploma in veterinary technology wildlife rehabilitation with honors. She has worked with a variety of animals. After graduating from wildlife rehabilitation she took an externship in Vancouver at the Marine Mammal Rescue Centre and has since worked with wolves, birds and many different species of reptiles. She started her career in small animal medicine in early 2023 and has loved it ever since. Sarah’s favourite part about her work at TLVH is having the opportunity to treat clients’ pets as if they are her own. She has two dogs at home that she cherishes. She loves to call all her patients sweetheart honey muffins and always snuggle up to them.
Since graduating from Georgian College with honors in 2022, Taylor has been a proud member of the TLVH Family. She has had a passion for helping animals since she was young; growing up she helped her family with wildlife rehabilitation, and has always had a few furry family members. Prior to pursuing a career in veterinary medicine, Taylor graduated from the University of Guelph-Humber in 2020 and holds a Bachelors in Family and Community Social Services, and a Diploma as a Social Service Worker. Today, Taylor has two rabbits and two dogs at home. Outside of work, Taylor relaxes with some trashy reality TV and her never-ending TBR pile.
Alyssa graduated from Northern College in 2019. She always loved animals growing up and knew very early on that working in small animal veterinary would be where she would end up. She started at TLVH in 2022 when Dr. Peter opened the clinic. She currently has two cats (Wendy and Carl) and one dog (Winston) at home. When she is not working, or tending to her own animals she is usually playing hockey or baseball.
Since joining the VetMed field Gabby has been a part of the TLVH family. Gabby went to school for Child and Youth Work, but found that dogs and cats bite less than kids. When not at work, Gabby can be found hanging out with her daughter, fiance, dogs, and axolotl. Normally she will be by the lake if not at work, when the weather is warm.
Dr. Peter Fahmy graduated from Assiut University, Egypt, in 2005 and went on to own and operate his own veterinary clinic for six years before moving to Canada with his family in 2013. Since then, he has worked across Ontario in both general practice and emergency hospitals, gaining a wide range of experience in small animal medicine and surgery.
He later settled locally, serving at the Huronia Veterinary Emergency Clinic (HVEC) and at the OSPCA Spay/Neuter Clinic in Barrie, before realizing his dream of establishing Twin Lakes Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Fahmy is proud to see this vision come to life, offering compassionate, high-quality care to pets and their families in the Orillia community.
