When to Call Us

If something seems off with your pet, it is always okay to call and ask. Common reasons to reach out for a same-day visit include:

  • Pain or limping
  • Lethargy or weakness

  • Urinary issues, including straining or blood in the urine

Availability depends on case urgency, doctor and team capacity, daily case load, and whether the case is appropriate for our clinic setting.

Calling early in the day gives you the best chance of being seen the same day. Because we already know your pet's medical history, we can often move faster and more confidently for our current clients.

Some situations need more than a clinic visit, such as advanced diagnostics, advanced imaging, 24-hour monitoring, intensive care, blood transfusion support, or emergency surgery that requires overnight care.

When that is the case, we will stabilize your pet when appropriate and help coordinate referral to a 24-hour emergency facility so your pet gets the right level of care quickly.
