Advanced Procedures and Case Selection

Some advanced procedures are performed when appropriate after examination, diagnostics, and case review. Cases requiring specialty-level equipment, advanced imaging, blood transfusion support, or 24-hour intensive care may be referred to a specialty or emergency facility.

Our priority is always the best outcome for the pet, whether treatment is performed at our hospital or referred to a specialty or emergency facility.

Your Pet’s Safety

Every surgical patient is cared for under general anesthesia with monitoring throughout the procedure and close attention during recovery.

We offer pre-anesthetic blood work, comprehensive anesthetic monitoring, and multimodal pain management during and after surgery. Monitoring may include heart rate, respiratory rate, gum color and capillary refill, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and carbon dioxide monitoring when applicable.

Affordable Surgical Care, Explained We work to keep surgery accessible for Orillia families. Our pricing tends to be more reasonable because we are an experienced, busy practice and we focus on the care your pet truly needs.

That is not a compromise on quality. It comes from doing this work often, doing it carefully, and being honest with you about what is necessary.
Honest Guidance We handle many surgical cases in-house. When a case calls for advanced imaging, blood transfusion support, 24-hour intensive care, or specialty-level surgery, we will tell you plainly and help coordinate a referral.
